Breathwork Healing Groups & Retreats

Breathwork is a powerful yet gentle healing practice that uses conscious, intentional breathing to support the nervous system, release stored tension, and create space for both physical and emotional healing. Much like acupuncture, it works by helping the body return to its natural state of balance—activating your own innate capacity to heal.

Many people experience breathwork as deeply calming and clarifying. It can help:

Grief Ritual Groups

“Grief will be the keynote for the foreseeable future.”

— Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow

Loss and grief touch each one of us – whether it be through the death of a loved one; chronic illness; job loss; loss of a home; a childhood surrounded by addiction and neglect; the scars brought home from wars. Increasingly, many of us collectively suffer a grief over the condition of our world and the losses happening to our natural environment. Some of it is passed on to us through previous generations.

In many traditional societies, coming together to hold a space for grief was woven into the life of the community. In our times, it barely gets mentioned; each one of us is left to navigate our grief and loss on our own. Typically it gets buried within, emerging later as symptoms like anxiety, depression, and loneliness.

In our grief ritual groups we show up to let our grief be heard, felt, witnessed, accepted and embraced. We use simple gestures of ritual to acknowledge the grief we carry. To let our sorrows out of the shadows is to free ourselves to more fully experience the beauty of life, a beauty that hides behind the held pain of unacknowledged grief.

Grief Ritual Groups are held in person whenever possible. The length of each session varies with the format – from an evening to a multi-day retreat.
